    I am deeply and I mean deeply disappointed with the service of this Dental Office. There are a few things that irritated me about the way she operates her office but the biggest disservice was her general demeanor and the way she handle me as a new patient. The first thing that I thought was a bit off was her surprise reaction to my insurance and the coverage my company provides. She has stated several times how " surprised" she was at my coverage and asked me TWICE who I worked for. I think that is a bit tacky and unprofessional to say the least. Secondly, I don't like the practice of having parents sit in the waiting room while their child gets worked on especially toddlers ( But they have a dog running everywhere it should NEVER be forced, if my child would like for me to be back there with them I should be able to. Lastly, I am not sure if it's because she is small-time DDS or if she just has horrible business practices but about a week ago my 6 year old needed an extraction and I was able to stay back there until the laughing gas and the numbing medication started to work then of course she asked me to leave so of course I did and waited for the procedure to be done, as I am checking out the Dental Assistant gave me my Total it was $8 and some change she even said WOW you have great insurance so now those comments are simply just becoming irritating im thinking buy why are you so surprised I have great insurance? So I again I politely say something to the affect of " Yes I work for a great company and I am blessed" So anyways she gives me an $8 dollar and some change total and I give her my credit card, she walked to the other side of the receptionist area and here comes Dr. Harberstroh telling her to wait before she charges my card and asked her to come to the back office. At first I thought nothing of it, I thought maybe she needed her help with something in the back but after 15 minutes of waiting the assistant comes back and says ok so your Total is $48 and some change and I asked what changed since the time she just recently told me $8 , I said you were asked to come to the back and now my total has increased by $40.00?? She said ohh noo I went back there to check on your daughter and I said I know but you came back with a new total can you explain the charges? She then actually acts like she DIDN'T KNOW and started typing on her computer and said let me see...so i'm waiting and she finally says "Oh it looks as if this was a missed appointment fee from about 6 months ago" so I'm furious by now because not only do I feel I am being taken advantage of, but my intelligence is clearly being insulted. If I did not ask for clarification they wouldn't have provided it, they made it seem as if the extraction service price somehow magically jumped up $40.00, she lied and said she went to the back to check on my daughter but really Dr. Haberstroh asked her to come to the back to check the ledgers to see if there was anything else they could possible charge me for because I guess me just paying my portion of the service came out too low ( The assistant even said she had to look twice to make sure the amount was correct). I asked why I was just now being contacted about this fee, I asked why I was not contacted nor sent an invoice in 6 months and I was told they did send me 2 invoices that I never received. Bottom line is it was very very unprofessional the way they handle me as a patient. I felt belittled and taken advantage of, there are no signs of a fee for missing a appointment but at the end of the day it has absolutely nothing to do with the money nor the amount it was the general principle of the entire situation and I personally felt it could have been handled better. Keep in mind I was just in the office a week prior to get both my kids teeth cleaned and they didn't mention anything about a 6 month old charge. I felt Dr. Haberstroh made a personal judgement and felt I just wasn't paying enough out of pocket ( EVEN THOUGH MY INSURANCE COVERS ME ANYWAYS) so she went to go "research" a fee. Will never come back!!
