  I recently had some granite installed in my kitchen by Stone City. It was a fairly smooth process from start to finish. No appointment was necessary and I was given a great price. The measuring and install all went smoothly. Then main reason I am only giving them 3 stars is that the granite has small pits in it that are noticeable in the right light and when you run your finger across it.
  Pros:
  1. Price
  2. Installation was done quickly from the time of initial purchase
  3. Installation was done with no problems
  4. Final payment is done after install
  5. From a distance the countertop looks good
  Cons:
  1. There is no stain warranty
  2. The granite I had installed has some small pits that you can feel if you run your finger across the granite. I was told this is normal for natural stone, but I did not observe this on granite on display at various showrooms I visited. Also, I was not told beforehand that the granite would have small pits.
